I don’t post enough - so have an old music scrap. What was meant to be a Lord English Strife Theme mashup between Swing of the Clock and English eventually turned into this.
First of all, this is nowhere near a completed work. It’s basically a mash of different ideas with no proper structure - especially the very last part, that was a scrapped idea from somewhere earlier in the piece.
As for why this is has become a scrap - basically, I was trying to work with a bunch of ideas I didn’t particularly like, in a style that I wasn’t very good at, using samples that didn’t suit the concept, with a computer that couldn’t actually handle what I was trying to make. Sure, there are some interesting ideas in there that I might reuse in later works, but not in something like this. It was an experiment, and, well, that’s how it’s going to remain.
